EXPRESS ENTRY
What is Express Entry?
Express Entry was launched by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in January 2015. Express Entry is an online immigrant application system used to manage immigration applications from skilled workers. There are three immigration programs managed by Express Entry: Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program and Federal Skilled Trades Program.If you are eligible for one of the programs, you can also apply through Express Entry for the Provincial Nominee Program. You will get extra points if you are nominated hence, you can be invited to apply for permanent residence quickly.
I. FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER
(FSW) PROGRAM
The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) Program is for applicants who wants to become
permanent residents and are selected to immigrate to Canada because of their work experience and skills. Candidates are assessed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for eligibility and should meet the minimum requirements.
As of January 1, 2015, candidates for Federal Skilled Worker Program will be selected to apply through the Express Entry immigration system.

II. FEDERAL SKILLED TRADES
(FST) PROGRAM
The Federal Skilled Trades Program is for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in a skilled trade. Candidates are assessed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for eligibility and should meet the minimum requirements. This program is managed by the Express Entry immigration System.

III. CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS
The Canadian Experience Class is for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and want to become permanent residence. This permanent residence category was developed for temporary foreign workers and international student graduates with qualifying Canadian work experience. Candidates are assessed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for eligibility and should meet the minimum requirements. This program is managed by the Express Entry immigration System.
